  6. If the 2m mass moves forward by x distance the string will need 2x length that will come if mass m moves by 2x distance. Means a(2m) = 2*a(m). Isn't it?

    If 2m moves to the right by x as string length is constant m can only move to left by x... what you have written is possible only if string can elongate... mass of m with respect to 2m will be twice as both are moving in opposite direction...
