    It depends upon you. You won't get that much advantage from here that you get from classroom sessions. But remember these all are aids only. If you try to understand the things rather than rote learning you can do much with combination of help from other sources.

    10 months ago by Nachiketa Dev Sharma
    Ans 1 ->
    Quesets and Quegrid are just sufficient to crack JEE... soon we are also coming up with mock practice papers... that may also help... and if you are aspiring for a very high rank in jee that may need further practice if you feel the need in some topics after attempting all these questions...

    10 months ago by Aman Jain

In the refraction through a glass slab why does the ray of light bends towards the normal at the point of incidence..and why does it bends away from the normal at the point of emergence..what does the change in the speed of light in a medium account for in this phenomenon...please explain in detail the whole at the microscopic level???
    10 months ago by Aman Jain

    Because rays of light are particles of photons. Ray of light incident on a medium interacts with the particles of medium.

  82. sir in a convex lens(placed in a rarer medium) since the light ray goes from a denser to rarer medium .. it must bend away from the normal..then why does the lens converges the rays of light(bending towards the normal)
    10 months ago by Aman Jain
    Ans 1 ->
    A query on optics is to be posted either under optics videos or under the optics section of general discussion INTERACT tab... DO NOT POST IN FUTURE ANY IRRELEVANT QUERY BELOW ANY VIDEO... we have separate sections for queries on different topics...

  84. sir, I have an interesting question of circular motion. if two particles a and b are moving in a circle with angular velocity omega of radius R in an inertial frame. then we have to calculate angular velocity of b with respect to a. this is not my question .my question is that I got two answers for this which are zero and omega .how?
    10 months ago by Rithik Chopra
    Ans 1 ->
    Angular velocity of one object with respect to other can be given by the ratio of relative velocity magnitude of one particle with respect to another in direction normal to the line joining the two particles to the separation between the two... In the case you mentioned you can check it is coming omega and thats the answer not zero...
    10 months ago by Physics Galaxy
    Ans 2 ->
    @Rithik Chopra Why you are asking question of circular motion on calculus page. Ashish Sir has made a section called interact for asking queries. click on interact and ask your query in your topic of question

  88. sir while deriving mirror or lens formula we already take into account the sign conventions. sir then why while solving problems we apply sign conventions again?
    10 months ago by Aman Jain

  90. Does light has mass? if it is there then it must have some momentum....then why momentum of any other body(eg. any vehicle) is greater than the momentum of light since the velocity of light is greater than any moving body
    10 months ago by Aman Jain
    Ans 1 ->
    Light has momentum in its particle nature and these particles we call photons which have rest mass zero... momentum of light is not directly associated only with speed of light... it is given as p = E/c where E is photon energies so it is given as p= h/(lambda)... more details about light momentum and its applications we will study in the topic of special theory of relativity which will be uploaded by end of this year....

  154. can i clear iit chemistry by just solving ncert
    1 years ago by gaurav sarmah
    Ans 1 ->
    Not at all. Maybe mains you can clear but advance is too tricky to go just by relying on ncert and in ncert some concepts are not properly explained. I would suggest 'conceptual inorganic chemistry' by prabhat Kumar RC mukharjee for physical and Rk Gupta for organic. Don't expect too much from rk Gupta because it is not the fault of the book that the subject itself is haphazard. Until you complete whole organic chemistry you will not feel confident about solving any book. In physical if want really tough questions then try ranjeet shahi or n avasthi. Don't worry too much reactions in prabhat Kumar. For inorganic reactions just follow ncert because even if you learn all the reactions given in prabhat Kumar they(iit) can still give reactions for which you will be clueless and it's not worth the time you give just for 1 or Max 2 questions. The amount of reactions are enormous. At least there are 300.

    1 years ago by apoorv agrawal
    Ans 1 ->
    The magnetic flux through a filamentary loop is changing with time. This flux change induces an emf.emf is induced by a changing magnetic flux. If nothing changes the induced emf is zero.
    1 years ago by Kushagra Misra
    Ans 2 ->
    induced emf is produced in every object which is undergoing change in magnetic flux linked to it. However if the object is non conducting induced current will not flow through the object
