hello sir, i can't understand why at extreme position kinetic energy is minimum?

Ans 1 ->
at the extreme position the velocity of particle becomes 0 as mgcos is always acting to decrease the the speed.at the the extreme position the speed becomes and hence KE becomes 0 as it is 1/2 mv2.now mgcos will act to increase the speed of the particle till its mean position and again from mean positiion it will decrease speed till its speed becomes 0 at the exteme position thereby making the kinetic energy 0

If at t=0 particle is starting from mean position then we use sine and if it is starting from ext position then we use cosine.. this I have explained in basic videos of SHM equation...
