    other forces such as gravity are conservative and work done by them increases the kinetic energy of the body only it does not affect the theremal energy.

    In situation we are taking all content of mixture at 0 deg with all available heat aside which then be supplied to get the final composition of mixture and final temp.

    15. sir, in the example 2 of calorimetry u have said that when block slides with uniform speed acceleartion is zero. but if f=mgsin@ the two forces are balanced then how will the block move?

    When the block is started due to some impulse, it attains some speed and as both forces are balanced it moves on at uniform speed but yes to start the motion some initial impulse would have been used...
