    29. Can we apply charge conservation in the case of two capacitors connected through resister? For example let us say i have two capacitors with some initial charge , now if i connect them with resisters then final voltage can be calculated by equating the sum of initial charge and final charge. But since there is a resister in between caps, it will take some energy means some charge lost, is this correct?? Thanks in advance-

    31. Sir is plate you have taken is of finite length? Because infinte length plate won't have any zero potential point (not even at infinty ) and hence we can never find out absolute potential. But in your video you have assumed the potential on the plate to be V so it think you have taken a finite plate because for a finite plate potential could be found out as its potential at infinity have is zero for a finite plate. Sir similarly in some books it is written that potential on the capacitor plate is V. Sir then is the capacitor plate also of finite length? Because if it had been infinte then we can never write its absolute potential as we can neve define a point were its potential would be zero. Sir say we assume the plate to be finite then why the books say that the electric field by the plate of the capacitor is sigma/2€0 ? This is the expression for the electric field for infintely long charged plate but we just now said that the plates of the capacitor needs to be of finite length.

    due to mutual repulsions among the like charges.these like charges moves away from each other and outer surface is the extreme region where these charges can feel minimum repulsion and hence charges reside at outer surface comfortably.

    quantitatively, net charge for a gaussian surface passing through the point of observation (which happens to be inside the hollow sphere), is ZERO. and hence the field is zero.

    if net electric field is not zero inside the metal the free electrons would continuously move in the opposite direction of net electric field till the induced EF will balance ext EF .

    yes of course there will be induction as u said. but the induced negative charges and induced positive charges r = in number and equidistant from centre of inner sphere due to which net potential due to induced charges will come out to be zero

    consider q charge to be concentrated at the centre of sphere A. hence this q point charge will give kq/3a potential at the surface of sphere c.we know that potential at the outer surface of the sphere is equal to the potential at every interior point of the sphere(also at centre).hence the expression of potential due to q charge is kq/3a
