  2. sir why here friction does not produce any torque if we see according to R X F (here F is friction and R is Radius of cylinder ) then due to cross vector rule the thumb gives the direction of torque inwards and both the torque due to gravity and torque on the coil are in the outward direction so friction should have a -ve torque
