Waves
  1.
  2. Sir, the eqn of wave in original frame was Asin(wt-kx), but now as the new frame moves with a velocity v1 in x direction, the distance of a medium particle in the new frame from the new origin changes continuously. So, we would write the eqn of wave as Asin(wt-k{x-v1.t}) as the distance would decrease in the x dirn, which would simplify to Asin(wt-kx kv1.t), but you had the new wave equation differing from mine in the positive sign, you have taken a negative sign. Please tell me where I went wrong at the earliest. ThankingYou.
