  22. hello sir, i can't understand why at extreme position kinetic energy is minimum?
    6 years ago by shreyaa chaudhuri
    Ans 1 ->
    at the extreme position the velocity of particle becomes 0 as mgcos is always acting to decrease the the speed.at the the extreme position the speed becomes and hence KE becomes 0 as it is 1/2 mv2.now mgcos will act to increase the speed of the particle till its mean position and again from mean positiion it will decrease speed till its speed becomes 0 at the exteme position thereby making the kinetic energy 0

  36. what is meant by damping and resonance what is the use of learning waves
    8 years ago by hemanthsai
    Ans 1 ->
    learning waves is useful in understanding of many topics like sound, AC, EM Waves and SHM... damping and resonance are the terms used in oscillations by external sources...

  38. sir how can we know which of the sine cosine equations are S.H.M.
    8 years ago by Tanveer Jaskaran
    Ans 1 ->
    If at t=0 particle is starting from mean position then we use sine and if it is starting from ext position then we use cosine.. this I have explained in basic videos of SHM equation...

  48. in this lecture did kinetic energy minimum represents that that kinetic energy is zero as velocity becomes zero at extreme position.
    10 years ago by sanjiv kumar tiwari
    Ans 1 ->
    yes,because if its minimum speed is not 0 then it would not be able to turn back to its means position.
