  2. But Sir doesn’t the mass move vertically up also along with the horizontal motion. As the net upward force on the block by the spring should be -kx = 2000x.02= 40N whereas the downward force is only 1g i.e. 9.8N so it should be moving vertically too by 1.5 cm to reach vertical equilibrium. So doesn’t that affect the solution Sir?
