  2. sir really i unable to understand .... If we consider electric field due to both the plates as you mentioned in previous lectures as both the plates are conductors the answer should be 2sigma/epsilon 0..... is it not so..

  4. Respected sir, I think we should double the value of electric field because due to contribution of both the plates of capacitors.(just like we done in wire capacitor)

    If we take electric field due to both plates then electric field due to individual plate will be sigma/2(epsiolon o) so the result will remain the same... In above case we are using the result of net electric field just outside a metal plate which includes all fields...
