  6. In the question it is specifically mentioned that mass M is scattered at 90 degree angle and so mass m should move at an angle of 60 degrees to the horizontal. Doesn't it? Answer then is 3/5?

  8. sir in example 18 we assumed that the ball m moves horizontally and on the axis where the M ball is placed...so what about line of impact? how can u conserve the momentum in x and y direction so firmly without knowing the direction of line of impact which can be either of x and y axis? plz reply as soon as possible..
