  8. sir i did not inderstood the distribution of current i.e. initially i1 in upper branch and finally i1 in lower branch.

    Here we are using the symmetry argument for this... see in upper 5 ohm resistance potential difference is x so current in it is i1 = x/5 similarly across lower 5 ohm resistance also potential difference is x so here also the current will be same...
