  1.
  2. question 1) why did you take x axis and -x axis here in the question only? why did not you take in previous questions (in solved examples)? how would we know when to apply this type of approach? question 2) if the ball initially goes up with the velocity 20 m/s(velocity of balloon), then it must have consumed some time there also. why not included that time? reply ASAP

  4. Sir, when stone is released from balloon then once it will go up and then it will have free fall motion so we have to deal them as 2 independent situations or directly take as a one situation i am not sure with this concept please guide

  8. Sir why don't we find the time of stone going stone in upward direction to that same point and then 100m downward and then add them all, What I had done is t1=2u/g =4sec 100=0 (1/2×10t2²) t2=_/(20) Hence total time 4 _/20 Answer is not matching please tell me where I am wrong

  10. sir when we need to take reference and when not. Like you took in the example as positive x axis and negative x axis.

  12. sir if the ball goes up,the height will increase,but you wrote h=100??????

    Ans 1 ->
    H is not total distance it is displacement

  14. how can height be negative?
    7 years ago by PRACHI DEV
    Ans 1 ->
    yes u r right height is never -ve but here its not height its displacement which is -ve(as downward)

  16. sir why h is taken negative there

  17.
  18. u=20 m/s g=-10 m/s h=-100 For first part of motion(Going up due to initial velocity and coming down due to gravity) Time=(2*u)/g=(2*20)/10= 4 seconds. Now for coming down v=u+at 0=20+(-10*t) 10*t=20 t=2 Therefore total time taken: 6 seconds Why is this answer not valid?

    Ans 1 ->
    The velocity at 100m is not becoming 0.so we can not apply that direct result
