  10. Sir I'm unable to understand why the net electric would be zero inside the hollow spherical region. If possible could you please provide some quantitative explanation for this?

    Ans 1 ->
    quantitatively, net charge for a gaussian surface passing through the point of observation (which happens to be inside the hollow sphere), is ZERO. and hence the field is zero.

    if net electric field is not zero inside the metal the free electrons would continuously move in the opposite direction of net electric field till the induced EF will balance ext EF .
