  10. Respected sir, I thinks in diamagnetic materials the repulsion with magnet should occur only when change in magnetic flux occur in material and this flux should be increases for repulsion. If we decrease the magnetic flux then diamagnetic material should attract the magnet?

    Ans 1 ->
    No... its not exactly... When you apply an external magnetic field that automatically imply that you have increased the field so the material will repel the field....

  12. The diamagnetic material should be lifted for a short duration because there is no continueous change in magnetic flux occur in diamagnetic material?
    9 years ago by sudeep khare
    Ans 1 ->
    No its not so... generally a perfect diamagnetic material acts as a superconductor and it maintains the induced current in it and it will remain suspended in it... even if not a superconductor... the energy dissipates and energy can be supplied by external source...
