  12. sir i think there should be cube of the two lengths in denominator[(r-L/2)^3 and (r+L/2)^3]
    7 years ago by harshdeep
    Ans 1 ->
    No its not as we are not finding the magnetic field due to a dipole... we are finding the magnetic field due to the individual poles so in result it is square of length in denominator only...

  14. is there any other reason of earth's magnetic field ?
    7 years ago by sundeep
    Ans 1 ->
    Its mainly due to the circulation of free charges in the core of Earth...

  16. Respected sir, as we have discuussed in electrostatics, when an electric dipole is placed in strong electric field it gets broken into free +ive and -ive charge. By using same analogy is it possible to break bar magnet into individual magnetic north and south pole by applying a strong magnetic field.

  17.
  18. Why at aclinic line magnetic needle shows null deflection? At these points it should give strong deflection as only horizontal component of magnetic field is present in this line. Compass should give null deflection at poles.

  19.
  20. Why we have taken the diration of magnetic lines towards north pole instead of south pole?
    9 years ago by sudeep khare
    Ans 1 ->
    because at north pole of earth it is magnetic south pole thats why when we suspend a magnet its north pole points in north direction....

  22. Respected sir if the magnetic field is due to molten cations of iron alloy then the ionized electrons from iron alloy should also move along with it which creates a current opposite to that of ionized iron and therefore the net magnetic field should be zero?
    9 years ago by sudeep khare
    Ans 1 ->
    No due to difference in inertia of cations and electrons their current won't be same...

  26. we define the aclinic line so it must be a line which is clear from word but why in defination we say that it is a circle
    9 years ago by rajat gupta
    Ans 1 ->
    aclinic line is only one line close and almost parallel to earth's equator where magnetic needle shows no deflection...
