  14. Sir why the current Ic is zero when Vce is zero? At zero Vce small Ic should be present and at zero current the value of Vce should be slightly negetive?

  16. Sir , In common emitter transistor for output characteristic why is the Ic zero when Vce is zero ? (whereas in common base transistor in output characteristic Ic is not zeron when Vbc is zero )
    9 years ago by anshul
    Ans 1 ->
    Emittor emits the majority charge careers and if Vce is not there collector will not get biasing voltage and will not be able to pull any charge careers thats why Ic becomes zero.. no you can see common base connections again to understand the same for it why it is not zero in that case...

  20. Sir Why the transistor is in saturation reigion for small Vce?
    10 years ago by Naman Agarwal
    Ans 1 ->
    For small Vce collector biasing is not sufficient enough to pull most of majority careers emitted by emitter so collector current changes rapidly with small change in Vce...

  22. why transister is used as amplifier
    10 years ago by RAHUL JAIN
    Ans 1 ->
    Because in transistor base collector junction resistance is more than base emitter junction and current is transferred from emitter to collector and in normal operation it increases the potential drop across base collector junction and hence it leads to amplification action for use of a transistor as an amplifier...
