  18. how can we transfer heat from low temp region in refrigerator
    4 years ago by Jasper Bhardwaj
    Ans 1 ->
    The crux over here is that we are taking heat from that low temperature body by doing some external work on the refrigerator system....A body at low temperature doesn't mean that it has no heat at all....IT HAS HEAT AS LESS AMOUNT...That's the thing to be understood first...An yeah one imp thing as well we are considering input for this system as external work to be done and the output is the heat taken from the low temperature body.....

  22. Sir in V vs P graphs, unlike the P vs V graphs, the sign of clockwise work will be negative, and that for counterclockwise be positive, right?
    4 years ago by Kruthik Pimpre
    Ans 1 ->
    No. Clockwise and anticlockwise remains same if you view it that way only changes if you view from behind the graph. I would suggest that you shouldn't just remember this like a convention. Understand the logic and use it in every case (find the net area with the volume axis)

  24. If delta v =0 but dv is not equal to zero ,then will the process be called isochloric?
    5 years ago by Harshit paddar
    Ans 1 ->
    No it is not an isochoric process this article was particularly emphasised by ashish sir that delv is not necessarily an isochoric process because in an isochoric process work done by the system is equal to zero hence all the heat provided to a system will only change the internal energy of the system but if dv is non zero there will be a work done by the system I hope you got the answer :)

  26. sir if the piston moves up by gas molecules than how can we say that a vacuum is created for an instance in the container ?
    5 years ago by Jatin Kr
    Ans 1 ->
    See in the initial state the part above the piston is COMPLETELY EVACUATED...And clearly notice the thing said by sir in this video.....see when u move the piston u might imagine that gas might expand... But, THINK how it expands...So for that initially the vaccum space is created and the gas particles fill in that space.. So, that's why there is an expansion in the volume as well as decrease in the density of the gas.....

  36. Respected Sir, Plz Give me answer to the following question Kindly, Q.) Describing a system in which the entropy is decreasing. Is this system isolated from its surroundings?
    5 years ago by Naveen Varikuti
    Ans 1 ->
    if the gaseous system present inside a thermally conducting container it increases the internal energy of the house....As such it increases the temperature of the gas......And ENTROPY Means degree of Randomness.....So in this system the randomness of gaseous particle increases.....

  56. sir why there is a difference in the signs in physics and chemistry
    7 years ago by hulk iron
    Ans 1 ->
    Good Question!! In Chemistery: IUPAC gave sign convention acc. to which work done by system(Expansion Vf>Vi) is -(ve) and vice versa. And accordingly they have equation as dU=q w
    6 years ago by ayush raj
    Ans 2 ->
    dU=q w reason is when work is done on system internal energy of system increases. So that's only a different way of writing same thing with different concern.
