Why does transfer of charges say electrons take place from a charged body to an uncharged body when a metal wire is connected .
Why does the charge not further transferred when both the bodies attain same number of electrons/charges?

metals show the property by which charge is uniformly distributed over the surface.also charge dbodies are unstable and try to reduce the charge over them.two bodies will have equally charge transferred between them only if they are made of same material.
